🔒
Encrypted, always
All information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.
Your data is protected. Period.
Collision Passport CX runs on trust — your customers trust your shop, and your shop trusts us. This page states, in plain language, how the information you and your customers share with us is protected and used.
🚫
Never sold
We do not sell customer or shop information to anyone, for any reason. There are no data brokers, no advertisers, no exceptions.
🏪
Your shop owns its data
Your customer list, survey responses, and reports belong to your shop — not to us, and never to another shop.
🗑️
Deleted on request
Cancel the service and we return your data and delete our copies on request. Individual customers can request deletion at any time.
What information we handle
To run the survey and recovery service for your shop, Collision Passport CX handles only what the service needs: customer name and contact information (email and, if you use SMS, phone number), the repair order number, vehicle description, the assigned advisor's name, and the ratings and comments your customer chooses to submit.
We do not request or store payment card details, driver's license numbers, insurance policy documents, or repair photos.
How it is used
- To send your customer one survey invitation on your shop's behalf, and a follow-up reminder if they haven't responded.
- To alert your management team when a response needs attention, and to track the follow-up.
- To build your shop's private performance reports.
- To offer every respondent the same optional opportunity to leave a public review. In line with Google's review policies, this opportunity is never conditioned on the score a customer gives.
That is the whole list. Customer information is never used to market other products to your customers, never shared with other shops, insurers, or vendors, and never used for anything beyond operating the service for your shop.
Who can see it
Your shop's data is visible only to the people your shop authorizes (your managers and advisors, at the level you choose) and to Collision Passport personnel strictly as needed to operate and support the service. We use established cloud providers to store and transmit data; they act as processors under their own security and privacy obligations and have no right to use your data for themselves.
Your customers' rights
Every survey email identifies your shop, explains why the customer is receiving it, and includes a way to opt out of further messages. Customers (including California residents under the CCPA) may request a copy of their information or ask for it to be deleted by contacting us at the address below — no forms, no runaround.
If something ever goes wrong
In the unlikely event of a security incident affecting your shop's data, we will notify you promptly, tell you plainly what happened and what information was involved, and work with you on next steps — as required by law, and because it's the right thing to do.
Questions about data protection, or a deletion request? Email info@collisionpassport.com — you'll hear back from a person, usually within one business day.
